The Structured Products & Fund Finance Team is a department of Blue Owl Credit and is responsible for structuring, execution, and placement of a variety of debt solutions for our BDCs and private funds, all of which support our Direct Lending business. The Structured Products & Fund Finance Team has executed more than 50 securitization vehicles (including: bi-lateral bank facilities, criteria facilities, rated notes, and CLOs) representing more than $30 billion of commitments.
The team is the primary point of contact with major investment banks, insurers and other lenders / investors, while staying closely aligned internally with our portfolio managers, risk management team, and middle / back-office functions to ensure efficient debt solutions for the Firm’s Direct Lending Strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for deal closings which includes coordinating with portfolio management, risk management, accounting, operations, and legal/compliance departments.
- Create efficient / optimized portfolios for securitization vehicles by analyzing credit agreement covenants and working with risk management / accounting / operations teams.
- Maintain historical performance data of our rated notes, leverage facilities and CLO’s.
- Assist in negotiating terms with lenders for bi-lateral bank facilities, and criteria facilities)
- Assist in negotiating terms with investors for our rated note products
- Assist in the ongoing monitoring of securitization vehicles by working with accounting / operations / risk management teams
- Assist in preparation of lender / investor presentations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree 5 - 8 years’ experience in structured finance (investment bank, private credit, trustee, rating agencies)
- Proficient in Power Point and Excel
- Strong data analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail, consistency and accuracy
- Team player with enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity to learn more
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic, self-starter, and pro-active
- Comfortable with working with colleagues at various levels, work styles, and function
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York based position will be $150,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
