Your role
- demonstrable growth track record evidenced by strong financial results
- customized portfolio construction advice to ultra-high net worth clients/prospects
- production of bespoke presentations that outline our research, capabilities and views on asset allocation, portfolio construction and product fulfillment
- develop fluency in all aspects of portfolio construction and effectively use all asset classes necessary to implement both strategic and tactical asset allocations
- develop key partnerships throughout the firm to cultivate extensive knowledge of platforms and product offerings (traditional and non-traditional)
- contribute to the production of original investment content for internal and external distributionExperience in cross asset best execution
- portfolio reviews and portfolio health checks
- advanced spoken and written communication skills
- sound understanding of the bank’s investment solutions and ability to drive sales and partner with specialists when required
- a valid and active Series 7, 66, 3 is required or must be obtained within 90 days of starting role.

- New York: the salary range for this role is $135000 to $175000

Your team
The Global Access Initiative will have hubs in New York, Miami, and California (exact location under development). It will be a market within the UBS International Financial Services Division. The WM APAC Team will be based in New York. This team will report locally to the Head of the Global Access Initiative. As an Portfolio advisor, you’ll provide cross-asset investment advice in a portfolio context, perform trade executions and continuously monitor clients' portfolio health and performance.
Your expertise
- 10+ years of experience in wealth management international preferably in a portfolio advisory or investment specialist role
- proven track record of delivering investment advice to private clients and/or institutional clients
- expertise in cross asset class coverage and portfolio construction
- a firm grasp of financial markets, with proven competency in translating current and anticipated trends for the benefit of investors
- knowledge of local regulatory requirements, with high ethical and professional standards
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance or a related field, CFA is a plus
- Proven experience in building client trust, evidenced through revenue growth and increased penetration across multiple investment solutions
- Valid Wealth Management Diploma or equivalent certification
