JOB DESCRIPTION
As a VP Business Analyst within our Asset Management Technology Team, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our organization's IT strategy and implementation processes. This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate across several teams and drive innovative projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Partnership and Documentation: Forge strong partnerships with various business units to understand their requirements thoroughly. Translate these needs into actionable insights and data solutions. Document requirements meticulously, ensuring clarity and completeness for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Requirements Development and Technical Documentation: Lead in gathering, analyzing, and meticulously documenting detailed requirements for Asset Management projects. Facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including project charters, requirements specifications, design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
- Asset Management Support and Process Improvement: Contribute to aligning IT initiatives with the organization's overall strategy. Offer insights and suggestions to improve data processes and systems. Stay updated on industry trends to enhance our approach continually. Implement process improvement strategies and document procedures for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Regular Status Meetings and Communication: Conduct regular status meetings with project team members and stakeholders to communicate progress and address any issues or concerns. Ensure that communication is clear, concise, and well-documented to facilitate understanding and alignment across all stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or information systems or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Asset Management Technology, Operations, or Finance, with a focus on investor reporting, closing workflows, and fund administration.
- Deep understanding of NAV creation processes, closing period workflows, and fund structures.
- 5- 7 years experience working with fund administrators, optimizing fund operations, and improving reconciliation and reporting processes.
- Proven ability to drive process automation and technology implementation to enhance asset management efficiencies.
- Strong experience in financial services/consulting with a proven track record of large-scale, complex business analysis.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success from initiation to closure.
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) process.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or Tableau preferred.

- Must be willing to work from the New York office and travel as necessary.
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at time of posting is below. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Actual base salary within the specified range is comprised of several components, including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, specific degrees and certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and, if applicable, the location of the position.
This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance).

Salary Range
$185,000 — $210,000 USD
