This position is eligible for an annual incentive award and Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) pay differential. The annual incentive opportunity is 0-20% of salary and is based on the level of achievement against several quantitative and qualitative measures. Permanent full-time employees who possess certification as a CFA may receive a 5% monthly base pay differential.

Our CalPERS Investment Office (INVO) is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill an Investment Officer III (IO III) position within our Investment Operations (IO) team to assist the Investment Manager (IM) to negotiate agreements, terms, and conditions which govern CalPERS trading relationships with counterparties and external managers.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Provide support to draft, negotiate, edit, and maintain trading agreements as necessary to execute with CalPERS external counterparties and investment managers.
- Provide subject matter expertise on trade and other vendor contracts as requested.
- Support the maintenance of global compliance with all regulatory mandates subject to agreement and documentation with all counterparties/managers.
- Research and stay abreast of all evolving regulatory requirements which may impact CalPERS relationships, terms of agreement, or collateral schedules.
- Implement a regulatory requirement framework, amend legal agreements, and credit support annexes as required to maintain compliance.
Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite per week.
