JOB PURPOSE:
Acuity is looking for an experienced Business Development salesperson who has extensive experience in the selling into Private Equity/ Alternative Asset Management space.
To be successful in this role you should have good understanding of the Alternative Markets especially the competitive landscape, understanding of the offshoring business and ideally an established network in the Florida and neighboring state markets.
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills and strong negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to build and establish long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Prior experience of presenting and marketing to C-Suite management or Senior stakeholders within the Alternatives space (predominantly P rivate Equity and Venture Capital) is highly desirable. Experience in offshoring services would be added advantage.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Run high quality Enterprise sales cycles in market with Portfolio managers, CFO, CXOs etc., which includes:
- Identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients
- Leveraging existing client relationships and networks to generate commercial interest
- Qualification and generating demand at clients and prospects
- Creating compelling value propositions mapped to client business needs
- Negotiating and closing complex agreements with the CXOs
- Own sales quota to be attained by selling to new client accounts and by leveraging one’s earlier relationships for selling high value added services to private equity, Venture Capital, Corporates and
- Consulting firms including
- Negotiate with COO/CXO level to build a broad vision of outsourcing and associated benefits
- Meet established revenue targets, while creating new and enhanced customer relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
- Position requires travel
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelors’ degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics or related area is highly desirable.
- Experience of selling to Commercial Banks/Investment Banks/Private Equity/Venture Capitals/ Corporates/consulting firms is must.
- Experience of working with teams across geography would be preferred
- Prior experience with offshoring/outsourcing would be added advantage.
- Strong existing network in the Florida Market.
- Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach and ability to engage with senior business users, Partner, COO’s, CIO’s/Investment Managers, CFO, CRO’s, CCO’s etc. Ability to influence these key decision makers during the full life cycle of the sales process
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience
