By working collaboratively and utilizing the latest technology, these integral groups make sure our two businesses are compliant, operationally efficient, and profitable.
The Strategic Client Development team drives forward industry relationships and client engagement with a focus on Lazard’s Financial Advisory clientele. We manage convening events, relationship mapping and development alongside senior leaders and sector-specific bankers. We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to lead event planning with a strategic lens, with a focus on attendee experience and developing long-term relationships.
We’ll trust you to:
- Engage and interact with bankers to curate high-end events for the purpose of building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients based on trust, value, and satisfaction.
- Manage a wide variety of events driving strategic client engagement, managing meeting logistics, attendees, follow-through.
- Coordinate quarterly meetings and offsite events, ensuring clear and effective communication between senior bankers and leaders.
- Manage logistical arrangements for events including venue selection, transportation, accommodation, and catering.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Liaise with various departments to gather information and reports required.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in event management, preferably in financial services.
- Strong meeting and event management skills with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to execute projects in a timely manner.
- Strong familiarity in the space of venue sourcing, AV coordination and executive scheduling.
- Demonstrated success interfacing with c-level, public company executives.
- Experience working within a global setting and with multi-cultural teams.
- Demonstrated success in executing executive events with deep attention to detail.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel on an as needed basis.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $110,000 - 130,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
