Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Sr Accountant to assist with the day-to-day accounting over US entity activities within the Finance organization. This position is essential to ensuring the highest level of financial reporting accuracy through the maintenance of internal systems and adherence to financial reporting processes. Job Responsibilities:
- Possesses a thorough understanding of accounting concepts.
- Perform monthly accounting duties as assigned including:
- Create and validate customer invoices.
- Facilitate collections via appropriate channel.
- Reconcile transactions to ensure accounting records are accurate.
- Analyze data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Create, validate, process and reconcile pass-through and other 3rd party payments.
- Resolve reconciling items.
- Research and resolve complex process or accounting issues.
- Responsible for complex customer relationships for accounting responsibilities including invoice, collection process, issue resolution and support.
- Provide support cash forecasting with expected receipts and disbursement guidance to Treasury operations.
- Utilize financial schedules to perform analysis including trends for reconciling items, fluxes, and root causes.
- Prepare reports including spreadsheet analyses and schedules to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
- Conduct appropriate research to identify and solve for reconciling items with further analysis and/or corrective action.
- Establish effective relationships within functional area and partner with cross-departmental peers and business units to effectively accomplish tasks.
- Complete tasks timely, escalate any delays to avoid negatively impacting team performance; complete assigned special projects in a timely and accurate manner. Document processes effectively.
- Provide senior accountants and manager with important updates on a consistent basis and escalate complex items to manager.
- Understand and readily support Envestnet’s established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls, and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 3+ years of Accounting experience.
- Previous experience working in a high growth, public company environment preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail oriented with strong time management, organizational and adaptability skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with Oracle ERP or other large Financial System ERP.

Salary:
The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $115,000.
