The Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) function is responsible for building and implementing frameworks/processes to identify, assess, prioritize, mitigate, and report on operational risks across the business. The ERM function will facilitate a centralized approach to managing the firm’s operational risks, collaborating with the relevant teams across modeling, engineering and corporate functions to mitigate identified risks. ERM will strive to promote and foster a culture of operational risk awareness, accountability, continual improvement, and transparency within TSIM. This will include providing reporting on operational risks and mitigants to control functional leadership, business area heads, and senior leadership.

You Will Take On The Following Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the business and other partner teams to become SME within the business
- Conduct current state risk assessments, develop future state processes, and drive primary responsibilities for overall solution delivery while collaborating with other partners
- Assist in managing the IM Operational Risk Framework and lead the working groups to evaluate risk/incidents and syndicate approvals for recommendations (e.g.,identifying new risk, documenting the mitigation) for Investment management
- Analyze significant operational incidents, collaborate with partner teams across the business on root cause identification, and remediation efforts
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build out reporting and metrics
- Manage status of remediation efforts to ensure continuous progress is being made and to escalate when necessary
- Assist in building out Enterprise Risk Framework and developing the culture of operational risk awareness, accountability, continual improvement
You Should Possess The Following Qualifications
- 6-10 years of in-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and standard processes including application in the context of a large financial institution.
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in the financial services industry.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in designing and conducting stress tests and scenario analyses.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey risk-related information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to think critically and creatively to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in risk assessments and reporting.

The base pay for this role will be between $125,000 and $175,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
