Job Description:
This newly created VP, Investor Relations Manager position will play a pivotal role in supporting the Firm’s growth in the Intermediary and evergreen fund space, while also ensuring seamless interactions with individual investors. This role emphasizes investor-level engagement, operational excellence, process improvement, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The position is responsible for direct investor interactions, including onboarding, account maintenance, and client communication, as well as working with intermediaries and third-party service providers to streamline processes and enhance the investor experience.
The Investor Relations team is dedicated to delivering a best-in-class investor experience across evergreen, open, and closed-end private market funds, with a focus on both institutional and private wealth investors as well as intermediaries.
This position will also focus on streamlining processes, ensuring alignment between internal teams (Investor Relations, Sales, and Operations), and overseeing key initiatives to enhance the intermediary experience.
Responsibilities:
Investor-Level Interactions:
Act as a direct point of contact for institutional and private wealth investors, addressing inquiries related to onboarding, account maintenance, re-registrations, and other investor-level services.
Support investors through the onboarding process, ensuring accurate completion of subscription documents, collection of proper documentation, and adherence to deadlines.
Collaborate closely with distribution agents, consultants, and investors to ensure a seamless experience across fund lifecycles, providing personalized support and guidance.
Manage existing investor accounts, ensuring accurate maintenance of client records, processing re-registrations, and facilitating the distribution of client communications.
Intermediary and Platform Collaboration:
Partner with intermediaries, including Charles Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing, to facilitate onboarding and subscription processes while ensuring alignment with platform requirements.
Operational Excellence and Reporting:
Manage group mailboxes used for communication with internal teams and external investors, ensuring prompt and professional responses to inquiries.
Produce and deliver key metrics, summaries, and updates for senior management, including statistics on onboarding efficiency, intermediary relationships, and product launches.
Define and establish departmental procedures to optimize investor servicing and ensure consistency across touchpoints.
Drive continual improvement through process enhancements and automation, including assisting with UAT testing for ongoing project work.
Collaboration and Fund Oversight:
Assist in managing relationships with fund administrators, focusing on investor services, data integrations, and creating workflows to support fund structures and distribution partnerships.
Understand the Firm’s private fund offerings and provide detailed explanations to investors, ensuring superior client service and tailored communication.
Support special projects related to investor services, operational improvements, and new fund launches.
Collaborate with sales teams to support key intermediary relationships throughout the fund lifecycle, including subscription platform set-up, onboarding calls, and ongoing relationship management.
Oversee the launch and maintenance of products across various subscription platforms, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
Minimum of 8 years of financial services experience with direct investor engagement
Prior experience managing a client service team and working with intermediaries is preferable
Strong knowledge of private markets, including both open and closed-end funds
Experience with intermediary platforms such as Charles Schwab, Fidelity and/or Pershing is a plus
Experience working with tools like FrontInvest or eFront Invest is a strong advantage
Proven ability to manage relationships with key financial partners and investors in a professional manner
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, ability to produce metrics, summaries, and reports

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $120,000-$150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
