TITLE: Associate Portfolio Manager
LOCATION: New York, NY (A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.)
DUTIES: Responsible for daily oversight, rebalancing, and trading of client portfolios that hold individual stocks managed to client specifications. Work with advisors and clients to educate them on the capabilities of custom separately managed accounts (SMAs), client-specific tax-management, and customization for personal values in an effort to continue to grow platform assets. Generate custom tax transition plans and manage the stages of transition associated with portfolios’ stock positions and client guidelines, including the incorporation of options strategies. Participate in infrastructure development of custom SMA offerings, requiring an understanding of equity investment markets, quantitative portfolio optimization, US tax code, and security trading systems (Bloomberg).
REQTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered, or as a Portfolio Specialist/Analyst, or a related position. Must have five (5) years of experience with all of the following: Portfolio management responsibility for direct indexing strategies or custom separately managed accounts at scale (greater than $100 million in assets under management or 100+ client accounts); Quantitative portfolio optimization and risk management using Python and Matlab; Single name and index options strategies for taxable and non-taxable clients, including call-writing, put-writing, and collars; Working in a client-facing role, presenting to large audiences, and publishing investment insights related to quantitative factor investing, custom SMAs and/or tax management for different investment channels, including Institutional, Intermediary/RIA, Private Wealth advisors and end clients; Evaluating passive, quantitative factor, and fundamental active strategies to determine suitability for tax management overlays and ESG customization; Reviewing client portfolios using Bloomberg, FactSet, and S&P CapitalIQ; Communicating investment risk metrics (including tracking risk, marginal contribution to active risk, and active share), optimization parameters, portfolio attribution, and after-tax return calculations to Institutional, Intermediary/RIA, Private Wealth advisors, and end clients; and Trade preparation or execution of large batches of equity trades across multiple brokers and custodians, including handling of corporate actions, ADRs, and pink sheets. Must be a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
HOURS: Full-Time; Mon-Fri (40 hrs/week)
SALARY: $200,000 - $200,000 per year

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $200,000-$200,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
