Overview
The Investment team, a single team across both preferred equity and credit investments, is responsible for the origination, execution and monitoring of investments across North America and Western Europe. The team consists of more than 30 investment professionals across London and New York.
Working with investment professionals, the Investment Associate will be involved in all aspects of transaction origination, underwriting and execution processes. There are opportunities to work on both US and European transactions as required.
Key Investment Associate responsibilities include:
- Building complex financial models used to evaluate investment opportunities;
- Preparing potential transaction summary analysis and providing recommendations;
- Preparing and presenting investment memoranda for senior team members;
- Supporting transaction origination efforts, deal structuring and negotiation processes;
- Working with cross functional teams to contribute to the counterparty and portfolio due diligence processes, transaction execution and post-closing monitoring processes.

Skillset/Knowledge/Experience Required
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, private credit, private equity secondaries, and/or equivalent experience;
- Robust analytical and financial modelling skills, with strong attention to detail;
- High degree of proactivity and ability to produce high-quality work with limited supervision;
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative working relationships across the organisation;
- Ability to manage workflows in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Can demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
