Role overview
The purpose of this role is to support the marketing and communications strategy at 17Capital. The role will report to the Head of Marketing & Communications within a fast paced and motivated team. Founded 17 years ago, 17Capital pioneered the NAV finance market and continues to lead the asset class, we are looking for someone who is a passionate communicator who will help us maintain and grow our leadership position. This is a generalist marketing role with the opportunity to shape and lead a broad range of marketing activities across a range of channels including marketing campaigns, digital, events and operations.
Key responsibilities
Marketing campaigns
- Responsible for marketing campaigns across the business. Working in partnership with senior stakeholders to define the brief, create and produce exceptional marketing collateral, define and monitor campaign metrics and feedback to key stakeholders. Projects will involve working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Digital
- Manage internal and external email communication campaigns, including defining campaign brief alongside relevant business team, producing design and content, co-ordinate sign-off, analyse email performance, feedback and incorporate into future emails.
- Manage website updates. Responsibility for all team bio’s including writing of bio’s, maintaining log and updating.
- Responsible for 17Capital Intranet, including resolving IT/ performance issues, developing new features, maintain marketing news and activity and campaigns to encouraging others internally to utilise the tool.
- Manage zoom webinars,
- Support team in maintaining 17Capital LinkedIn page including scheduling approved posts and liking and sharing activity.
Internal marketing campaigns
- Co-ordinate internal affinity day campaigns including defining brief with relevant team, idea generation, planning and execution of communication campaigns, events and online activity.
Events and conferences
- Manage delivery of certain external client events and internal company events. Including responsibility for the brief development and planning, budget management, invite creation /e-campaigns, co-ordination, and delivery.
- Analyse event success utilising feedback and post-event evaluations and making recommendations for budget and planning.
- Co-ordinate with Oaktree or Brookfield when events are shared, managing communication with the respective marketing and business teams.
- Use events management systems such as Cvent and Hubspot to manage event invitations, website, app, registration and event evaluation.
- Monitor and track all relevant conferences, be the point of contact for conference providers and creating relevant and long-term partnerships. Co-ordinate with relevant teams on attendance, speakers and supplying of collateral. Collect, monitor and share feedback on each conference with recommendations for budget and planning preparation.
Marketing operations
- Support day-to-day management of marketing activities.
- Day-to-day management of E-Marketing tools such as HubSpot, C-vent and Zoom including management of the database, monitoring and management of performance and analytics. Creation of event templates and pulling reports for the team.
- Manage the marketing email inbox, dealing with enquiries from across the business
- Manage branded merchandise supplies.
- Manage ongoing marketing tracking and reporting.

Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ working in a marketing team, undertaking a range of general marketing activity and experience in delivering client events.
- Knowledge of marketing tools, preferably webflow, hubspot, cvent and zoom.
- Enhanced level of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Powerpoint
- Marketing qualification such as CIM
