Who You’ll Work With:
The Global Business Development Organization (GBDO) is seeking a Technical Specialist for our Client Response Center. The Client Response Center is the unit within our GBDO responsible for managing, writing, compiling, and producing the wide range of servicing materials needed to service AllianceBernstein’s many different types of clients. The Technical Specialist will use our firm’s technical resources (data, systems, people, AI, other) to service clients across regions and distribution channels. Reporting to the Managing Director and Technical Specialist within the Client Response Center, the Technical Specialist will deeply understand and help develop the optimal approach to complete reporting/servicing documents for clients, using our firm’s universe of available data, technical resources and systems. For new requests, the Technical Specialist will work with our Client Response Center Team in Pune to explicitly document all requirements and the agreed-upon approach (processes, sources, methodologies, footnotes and disclosures, etc.) As requested, the Technical Specialist will also support the Managing Director and Technical Specialist on various projects related to the wide range of product data that is used to service clients, including, for example, documenting product data, requirements, and related governance rules and processes needed to efficiently produce a range of client deliverables.
What You’ll Do:
Specific functions include, but are not limited to:
Complete Client Deliverables: Complete client servicing reports and requests. In doing so, seek efficiencies, leverage, and scale while ensuring regulatory and other risk control requirements are met. Follow existing documentation, and where that documentation does not exist, create the written documentation for standard operating procedures now required for all recurring client deliverables.
“Process Map” Technical Client Requests: Work with our Client Response Center Team in Pune to write and formally document, including via screenshots, instructions, processes, and systems used (“process map”) to complete each deliverable so that others will be also able to produce the resulting reports and servicing requests consistently and efficiently each time, in an industry-leading manner.
Complete All Deliverables with High Attention to Detail: Client requests must be completed efficiently and correctly and reflect the Client Response Center’s best practices for all components of the deliverable. In completing requests, you should continually seek efficiencies, leverage, and scale while ensuring regulatory and other risk control requirements are met.
Ability to Prioritize and Adapt to Client Needs: As needed, work with Managing Director and Technical Specialist to redesign existing servicing reports, documents, and approaches to reflect best practices, to make optimal use of automation technology where applicable, and to fully leverage existing systems and data, all with the objective of making our servicing deliverables more consistent, efficient, leverageable, risk controlled, and scalable across all channels.

What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 8+ years of experience in the financial services industry. Ideally will have knowledge of technical portfolio management and AB reporting systems and processes. Fixed income expertise a major plus.
Client Orientation: Strong knowledge of AB clients and client reporting requirements.
Technical Systems Expertise: High comfort level in working in a range of technical, data-oriented systems.
Strong Process Orientation: Process-oriented with an intuitive understanding of the sequencing of multiple components of an overall complex project.
Execution-Oriented: Results-driven and execution-focused. Will be highly organized and be able to work on multiple simultaneous projects and sometimes meet tight deadlines. This role requires a strong focus on consistent productive execution to enhance internal operational efficiencies, reduce associated costs, improve risk management, and enable our firm to service and support our clients more efficiently.
Communication skills: Able to convey highly technical information with clarity and precision. This communication is with other teams within AB, as well as junior members of the Client Response Center team.
