Job Description
The AV Technology Technician is responsible for facilitating high-quality meetings in the Conference Center using the firm’s advanced audio-visual technologies. This role involves supporting clients, attorneys, and staff to understand their specific AV requirements and effectively set up, execute, monitor, and troubleshoot live meetings and events. This role demands a strong focus on reliability, attention to detail, and client service. The position also requires deep knowledge of video conferencing platforms, including Zoom Meetings, Zoom Phone administration, Microsoft Teams, and Webex Meetings, as well as a foundational understanding of AV system construction and PC-based conferencing.
Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential functions:
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for multipoint video and audio teleconferences, ensuring seamless connectivity and high-quality experiences for participants, including high-profile meetings
- .Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot video conferencing systems, including Zoom Meetings, Zoom Phone, Microsoft Teams, and Webex, to ensure reliable performance and minimal downtime
- .Coordinate video shoots, live streams, and event recording for client and firm functions, including post-production video editing as needed for presentations and events
- .Provide guidance on the best technology solutions for specific events, including complex meetings, multi-location virtual hearings, and depositions, recommending process improvements to enhance meeting outcomes and maintain client satisfaction
- .Maintain and manage AV inventory, including equipment status, loan tracking, and proactive preventive maintenance to ensure operational readiness and zero downtime for high-profile events
- .Review conference room schedules daily, coordinating with other specialists to ensure timely meeting support for all meetings
- .Verify the functionality of AV systems and equipment, promptly identifying and addressing any technical issues to minimize disruptions, where reliability is critical
- .Respond quickly and effectively to email requests from clients, attorneys, and firm members regarding technical support for video and audio conferencing needs, including urgent support for last-minute client meetings and court preparations
- .Provide first-level troubleshooting for PC-based conferencing issues, including camera, microphone, and network connectivity problems
- .Remain flexible with work hours to meet firm needs, including rapid response to urgent client needs, off-hours support for global matters, and high-profile client events that may require immediate technical assistance
- .Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management to meet the needs to clients within the audio visual department scope of duties
- .The shift for this role is 11:00am-7:00pm

Knowledge, Skills & Abilitie
- s:Strong working knowledge of AV systems, including input and output factors, signal flow, and audio-visual signal managemen

- g.Proficiency in video editing with tools like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or similar softwar
- e.Excellent troubleshooting skills for Wi-Fi connections, video projectors, and PC-based conferencing peripherals, with a focus on minimizing disruptions in critical meeting

- ns:BS in a Computer Related Major preferr
- ed.1+ years experience within the AV space preferr
