Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our Accounting and Reporting team. This role will play a critical part in supporting the financial and regulatory reporting for our international entities. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing statutory filings. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations for assigned foreign entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Oversee and manage relationships with third-party accounting service providers (e.g., Vistra) in jurisdictions where regulatory reporting is outsourced, ensuring deliverables meet quality, timeliness, and compliance standards.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with local GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards.
Manage the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant authorities in each jurisdiction.
Coordinate and manage annual and interim audits, serving as the primary point of contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders.
Monitor changes in financial and regulatory reporting requirements and implement necessary process updates.
Review and analyze monthly international financial results to ensure accuracy, investigate variances, and monitor compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, legal, and compliance, to support business objectives and resolve accounting issues
Contribute to transformation initiatives, including system implementations, process automation, and the establishment of new accounting procedures.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience. CPA a plus.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS, and/or other local GAAP) a plus.
Technical accounting research capabilities.
Experience with multi-national business operations, including intercompany transactions and foreign currency translations.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and formulaic expressions.
Soft Skills:
Team-oriented and deadline-driven with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities.
The base salary range for this role is $90,800-$121,700. In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
