Position Summary:
The role sits within the Client Account Services Team, which is part of our wider Global Portfolio Services group. The role reports to the manager of the Client Account Services team. The Client Account Services Associate will help shape the strategic vision for building efficiencies and standardization within the Client Account Services space, particularly with regards to our regulatory reporting data needs. The Client Account Services Team is responsible for supporting the new account setup, ongoing maintenance related to client portfolio data and attributes, and supporting our regulatory reporting needs. This critical team will work to investigate and resolve issues related to client account reference data and will own the data integrity, while constantly driving for improvements. The Client Account Services Associate will be required to contribute to the continuous improvement of our client account data and change framework, with a view to further refine process and ultimately, enhance our client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
·Work hands on, executing the daily team functions, including the setup and maintenance of client portfolio referential data and client holdings information.
·Assist in the portfolio data maintenance related to various client life cycle events including establishing new client portfolio structures, service changes and restructurings. Will work closely with teams across the infrastructure, investment, and client teams to ensure a well-executed event, with an emphasis on operational risk and control environment.
·Work collaboratively across the investment teams to optimize each client’s portfolio structure and attributes, with a focus on increasing data quality and reliability. Address any questions from these teams related to specific client portfolio and investment attributes.
·Analyze the complexity, special requirements, and possible limitations associated with each portfolio structure, while also considering ongoing servicing requirements.
·Understand data flow, challenges, implementation strategies, and connectivity of data across the organization in support of clients’ data and broader business goals.
·Ensure notable risks are escalated to senior leaders within our Operations and Global Portfolio Services groups.
·Develop and maintain processes, policies and procedures.
·Review client information, including legal, tax and Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Client (AML/KYC) related documents, as well as portfolio holdings information. Work with internal stakeholders to process client portfolio data and information in CA systems and escalate any questions or issues to responsible parties.
·Exhibit a proactive nature and approach to learning and problem identification and resolution in terms of understanding client objectives and developing effective and appropriate solutions.
Qualifications:
·BA/BS required
·3-5 years related client data work experience required
·Some knowledge of the investment process, including portfolio construction, trading, investment, custody, fund administration, and securities knowledge is preferred
·Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and balance competing priorities
·Knowledge of alternative asset classes
·Strong analytical and organizational abilities
·Exceptional written and oral communication skills
·Experience in a customer service environment
·Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
·Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
·Professional, focused, and disciplined approach to work responsibilities
·Strong proficiency with various applications including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Word & Visio) and project management tools is preferred

The base salary range for this role is $70,500 to $91,700. In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
