Job Summary
We are building a next-generation portfolio monitoring platform purpose-built for private capital investors worldwide. Our mission is to eliminate data silos, reduce operational drag, and deliver actionable insights faster. This integrated solution brings together real-time analytics and intelligent reporting across private equity and private credit portfolios. As the Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering innovative features that transform how private market investors monitor, analyze, and report on their portfolios. Your mandate is to deliver powerful, intuitive features that solve real problems for fund managers, limited partners, and administrators. You’ll own the roadmap for key components of our monitoring solution: performance analytics, automated data ingestion, KPI tracking, and more. You’ll work cross-functionally with designers, data teams, engineers, and clients to ensure our product solves the right problems for fund managers and administrators.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision and roadmap for portfolio monitoring features including company-level performance tracking, fund metrics, benchmarking, and ESG analytics, as well as data integration points and third-party partnership evaluation.
- Deeply understand the needs of the PE/VC/RE market, specifically around front and middle offices processes to capture, report, and analyze portfolio data.
- Gather and prioritize requirements from GPs and third-party data providers through discovery calls, client workshops, and industry analysis.
- Translate market insights and complex workflows into elegantly simple scalable, and delightful client-facing features.
- Partner with User Experience, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- Validate features in the market through beta testing, user feedback, and iteration — ensuring usability and adoption across client segments.
- Stay on top of industry trends in private equity, private credit, and venture capital to anticipate emerging client needs.
- Own go-to-market readiness in partnership with sales, marketing, and support, including demos, release documentation, and training materials.
- Lead all phases of the product lifecycle from concept to launch and product readiness, coordinating team members to ensure successful product performance.
- Define and track key performance indicators to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
- Own objectives for backlog refinement and prioritization, balancing short-term wins with long-term product value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in private market finance or financial technology, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Deep understanding of private equity, venture capital, or private credit workflows, ideally from working with or at a GP, LP, or fund administrator, or software vendor.
- Demonstrated success in building client-facing features in enterprise software.
- Tech fluency - you are comfortable collaborating with engineers, understanding APIs, and talking product architecture.
- Exceptional listening skills, attention to detail, and clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- A bias for user-centered thinking, and a love for solving complex problems with elegant solutions.
- A self-starter personality is a must; you must be comfortable with ambiguity and can add value and drive product development in rapidly changing environments.
- Fluency in financial terminology and ability to communicate effectively with private markets business users.
