The role is for an Account Executive to join the First Time Fund Manager Sales team, focusing on emerging venture fund managers launching their first fund with Carta. Responsibilities include supporting prospective clients as they launch their firm and secure partnership with Carta, introducing prospects to product offerings including fund tax, management company services, investor due diligence, and data collection. The role involves communicating the business impact of products, managing influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building, understanding customer needs, owning the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to close, and developing comprehensive sales strategies. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, relevant sales experience preferably in Financial Technology or SaaS, proven ability to execute negotiation and closing contracts, intellectual curiosity, articulation, and competitiveness. Preferred experience includes venture capital, private equity, institutional investing, or wealth management. Carta offers a competitive salary, equity, benefits, and commission plans. Minimum cash compensation is $183,000 OTE in New York and San Francisco, with final offers varying based on geography, experience, and other factors.
