Position Summary
The Regional Director will be responsible for proactively representing Sage’s investment solutions to financial advisors throughout the Eastern Great Lakes Region (OH, PA, NJ, KY). This includes managing day-to-day territory activities and cultivating relationships across wirehouse, regional, independent, and RIA broker-dealer channels. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of financial products and a proven ability to drive asset growth through strategic engagement and effective territory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with financial advisors and centers of influence across all business channels.
- Apply a consultative sales approach to promote Sage’s investment strategies and capabilities.
- Deliver compelling group presentations and communicate Sage’s value proposition effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Identify prospective clients, prepare tailored presentations, and follow up on business development activities.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of capital markets and Sage’s core investment strategies, particularly in fixed income, asset/liability management, and tactical asset allocation.
- Prioritize and manage regional business development opportunities independently while coordinating with internal Sage resources.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience with an investment management firm, preferably within the Eastern Great Lakes Region.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in territory management and business development.
- Series 65/66 license.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- CIMA or CFP designation.
- Advanced understanding of fixed income and ETF asset management.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and territory management tools.
Additional Information
This role requires regular travel within the territory.
