Overview
The Institutional Buy-Side Division is responsible for the growth and success of FactSet’s institutional asset management, asset owner, and hedge funds clients. We’re seeking a Senior Regional Director to develop and implement strategic plans tailored to the unique needs and objectives of asset owners and Insurance within the Americas region to retain and drive growth.
This regional role reflects FactSet’s conviction in approaching our clients with a deep understanding of their business models and workflows to accelerate our own growth with those in the Asset Owner. In this role, the individual will be partnering with Sales Generalists, Client Services, Trading Sales, Middle Office Sales, and Buy-side organization. The Senior Regional Director will be expected to elevate our offerings and bring further visibility of our solutions across the entire workflow in this firm-type.
This individual will bring a client-centric perspective on new and existing pipeline and guide a more effective go-to-market plan for launching new offerings, packages and solutions by providing critical client requirements during initial states of our product lifecycle.
The Senior Regional Director will coordinate with counterparts in other regions to create the optimal long-term ASV outcome across Asset owner and Insurance within Buy-side. This leader’s success will be measured by their ability to retain and build a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities, while growing deployment and usage of our solutions.
Responsibilities
- Direct FactSet’s go-to-market strategy for asset owners within Americas by identifying growth opportunities and advancing how we position, sell, and monetize our solutions
- Partner with Americas leadership to elevate and communicate our solutions to clients and prospects, ultimately leading to client growth
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key asset owner decision makers, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Create and share thought leadership content externally. Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting asset owners. Function as an SME/thought leader for stakeholders across the company.
- Facilitate and attend FactSet meetings and events to grow our network and connect our client facing teams.
- Develop inroads and foster partnerships with consulting firms to increase FactSet’s positioning within the industry
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads in Asset Owner space.
- Partner closely with Product Management and inform the development roadmap with built-for-purpose solutions that address the workflow needs and priorities of asset owners
- Partner with Pricing, Product and Marketing teams to create, simplify and quantify key initiatives and activities that will materially drive revenue growth, based on a deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Minimum 20+ years industry experience with strong performance history
- Demonstrated experience as thought leader in the asset owner space
- Senior / C-level network within Americas Asset Owners and Insurance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to quickly build trusting relationships, both with clients and within FactSet.
- Strong track record of delivering on growth strategies
The budgeted salary range for this role in the State of Connecticut is $26,000 - $300,000.
