Position: Senior Data Analyst, Technology, Data & Digital Transformation

The data enablement and visualization role enhances analytics in the technology organization through Power BI insights, robust data models, and effective data storytelling.
The Role Will Be Responsible For
- Support and maintain data quality efforts by tracing ETL data pipelines, primarily through SQL queries.
- Translating non-technical requirements into analytical designs developers can build and support.
- Defining and implementing data validation and reconciliation frameworks for project data.
- Identifying data quality gaps and embedding validation checks in their processes.
- Developing and maintaining the performance calculation engine for IRR, benchmarks, quartiles, and related computations.
- Establishing pragmatic standards documentation, and reporting, including reusable templates/assets to accelerate delivery.
- Delivering intuitive Power BI dashboards and reports that clarify complex metrics and support planning, prioritization, and performance tracking.
- Enabling analytics by translating business requirements into actionable analytical designs and ensuring metrics are aligned across Data Engineering and BI platforms.
- Support and enforce data governance by applying validation and cleansing procedures to maintain accurate, consistent, and compliant data.
- Communicating findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years in data analysis or Business Intelligence roles within financial services.
- Advanced Power BI skills (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, dashboard design).
- Strong grounding in data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.
- Competent SQL for data exploration and validation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at liaising with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task: skilled at working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple deadlines and priorities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills: ability to prioritize and manage tasks to completion within required timeframes
- Preferred: familiarity with Azure Data Lake/Synapse/Fabric; experience leading internal upskilling; understanding of financial or operational performance metrics.
- Nice to have: Private capital domain knowledge, experience with data-quality tooling, Python for data wrangling
Compensation
The expected compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 per year.
