Your Future Team
The Senior Analyst, BS&O Data Analytics will play a critical role in advancing data-driven initiatives across Hightower. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards, analyzing complex data sets, and delivering actionable insights to guide strategic business decisions. The role will work closely with the Advisor Services and Business & Data Operations teams within the Central Office to streamline reporting and data processes. A strong focus on continuous improvement is essential, with an emphasis on enhancing data visualization techniques and implementing automation to optimize efficiency and scalability.
What You’ll Do
- Support Data-Related Initiatives: Build and maintain dashboards, analyze data outputs, and present findings to help address various business initiatives across all of Hightower. Extract meaningful business insights from large data sets and propose actionable plans to address business needs.
- Utilize Advanced Tools: Use software such as Power BI, SQL (Snowflake & SQL Server), Excel and Salesforce Reports to build dashboards and understand the enterprise software landscape.
- Dashboard and Reporting Management: Develop, automate, and maintain various reporting dashboards, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data. Track, review, and suggest updates to enhance, replace and improve manual reporting throughout the organization.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams, management, and stakeholders to understand business needs, enhance data analytics solutions, and deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement and Optimization: Research and apply continuous improvement techniques in data visualization, optimize and automate analysis, and transform raw data into actionable business insights.
- Support Ad Hoc Data Requests: Assist with ad hoc data requests from individuals throughout the organization, such as serving as an SME to help generate and provide reports of various Hightower data, assist in building dashboards, etc.
- Documentation and Process Improvement: Document data flow, systems, and processes to improve the design, implementation, and management of business processes.
- Leadership: Exhibit a leadership mentality to help proactively drive optimal business solutions and decisions.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years’ experience in Operations, Data Management, or similar role in the Financial Services field.
- Experience working with multiple technology platforms and systems, including but not limited to Power BI/Tableau, SQL (Snowflake & SQL Server), Excel and Salesforce Reports.
- Basic understanding of data and data trends within the advisory business (e.g., RIA) functions (IT, Finance, Operations, Compliance).
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both field teams and corporate departments.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- *Preferred: Python and Tableau experience

- Base salary of $95,000-$105,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)
