Job Summary: We are looking for a creative, organized and intellectually curious teammate to join a highly collaborative Business Development and Marketing team. The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the team to assist in the planning and execution of in-person marketing initiatives that support the firm’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, who takes initiative to complete tasks and drive projects.
Responsibilities: The Marketing Assistant responsibilities will be as follows:
- Conduct research on various topics
- Collect and analyze data
- Data input
- Copy editing
- Draft posts in WordPress and HubSpot
- Basic graphic design tasks primarily executed in Canva or similar programs
- Entry level/basic assistance with event preparation and execution, including researching venues, outreach to event vendors and assisting with onsite event management and preparation of event materials (name tags, swag, reference materials etc.)
- Support the business development and marketing department with administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing or administrative support role, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills, as well as the ability to multi-task.
- Must be resourceful and proactive to the needs of the Firm with the ability to maintain information accurately.
Technological Skills:
Proficiency with MS Suite software such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required. Preferably would also have proficiency with digital marketing platforms such as HubSpot and/or WordPress.
