Role summary
We are seeking a hands‑on Product Manager to help define and own the delivery of the product strategy for the High Touch (HT) Cash Equities business.
Candidate will work closely with front‑office users (Sales Trading/Trading) and partners across Technology, Compliance, Middle Office and Operations to translate real business problems / objectives into tangible outcomes and drive the delivery. Bringing deep knowledge of how financial markets operate with an understanding of the underlying market structure and associated regulation (ideally within US / APAC Equities market).
Focus on delivery of tangible business benefits, ensuring proposed solutions meet expectations of the users. Own the regional book of work aligning with the global strategy where required, managing all risk and issues and becoming the SME for the product in the region. Present strategy to stakeholders provide clear transparent delivery plan and putting in place mitigating actions to address risk and issues.
What you’ll do
- Define and drive strategy: Shape a clear product vision and roadmap; articulate the “why/what” and drive the “how” with business partners, ensuring business benefits are known and achieved.
- Lead discovery & analysis: Go beyond stated asks to uncover true root causes; transform complex, ambiguous problem statements into well‑scoped, testable solutions.
- Provide input into the Prioritisation process: Maintain an outcome‑oriented backlog, sequencing work to manage dependencies, risks and cross‑product trade‑offs. Ensuring stakeholders have the necessary information to allow them to make the critical prioritisation decisions.
- Partner with users and delivery teams: Build trust with front‑office users through transparent planning and reliable delivery.
- Launch, measure, iterate: Define success metrics and KPIs; test features, monitor adoption/performance, and iterate quickly to improve user and business outcomes, heavy focus on usability.
- Review and critique deliveries: Ensure deliveries are fit for purpose and that they are useable and achieve the stated objectives and are achieved in a cost effective manner.
- Ensure regulatory & control alignment: Work with Compliance and Control partners to embed applicable local rules and supervisory requirements into product design and delivery processes.
- Ownership, Focus on Delivery: Own the plan and drive the deliveries, monitor budgets and resource allocations.

Background
- 10+ years in financial services with 3+ years partnering closely with front‑office users; exposure to AMER / APAC cash equities market structure and equity workflows
- Worked in a Front‑office role (Sales Trader/Trader/Business Management) seeking to move into product; or background in Equity Technology (BA/Project Manager); or currently working as an Equity Product Manager at another firm.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a product vision & strategy aligned to customer and market needs; socialise and align stakeholders.
- Run structured discovery (user interviews, journey mapping, problem framing) and define outcomes, success metrics and guardrails.
- Document requirements ensure aligned with user expectations, document measurable outcomes, manage the backlog.
- Track performance and iterate quickly.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Technology, MO/Ops to identify dependencies early and land remediation plans.
- Manage the product lifecycle front to back, from creation to launch and ongoing maintenance.
Salary / Rate Minimum: 225, 000
Salary / Rate Maximum: 300,000

Purpose of the role
To develop, launch, and manage the portfolio of financial products and services for the global markets, collaborating with a team of product managers, traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to define product strategies, develop roadmaps, and bring new products to market, also playing a key role in gathering and analysis of market intelligence, identifying client needs, and developing competitive differentiators.
Accountabilities
- Development and execution of product strategy for financial products and services offered within the Markets division.
- Identification of market opportunities and customer needs to create new products or enhance existing ones.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including traders, sales, risk management, and technology, to define product requirements.
- Market data analysis to make informed decisions regarding product positioning and pricing.
- Management of the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance.
- Monitoring of product performance, through analysing metrics and client feedback.
