The Opportunity:
The Quality Assurance Consultant supports the investor onboarding AML/KYC delivery by performing independent, detailed Data Quality Control (DQC) and second-line file reviews across onboarding, lifecycle, and screening workflows, ready outcomes across onboarding, lifecycle, and screening processes.
This role ensures investor due diligence files are complete, consistent, and audit ready, and that execution aligns with applicable regulatory expectations and internal standards across Luxembourg, Cayman Islands, and U.S. fund structures.
What you’ll do:
- Perform second-line QA reviews of investor onboarding, lifecycles, and screening files to confirm completeness, accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Validate adherence to AML/KYC procedures, including entity verification, UBO assessment, risk classification, and documentation standards.
- Identify defects, documentation gaps, and unsupported conclusions; clearly document findings in accordance with QA protocols and standards.
- Confirm remediation actions are completed appropriately and that corrected files meet required regulatory and client standards.
- Track recurring issues and quality trends, escalating systemic or high-risk deficiencies to QA leadership.
- Support continuous improvements of onboarding controls, escalations guidance, and DQC execution.
To Qualify for the role, you will have:
- 3–5 years of experience in AML/KYC, investor due diligence, or financial services compliance.
- Exposure to Luxembourg, and/or Cayman Islands AML regulatory expectations is strongly preferred.
- Experience reviewing complex investor structures preferred.
- Prior experience in a QA, audit, control or second-line review function is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent documentation discipline, and ability to apply consistent quality standards in high-volume environments.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Major or concentration in compliance, criminal justice, law, business, accounting, finance, and/or economics preferred.
- CAMS certification
