Financial Advisory
New York
Lazard is one of the world’s leading financial advisory and asset management firms. Our people make the difference. With just over 3,000 employees, our tight-knit community allows for professionals eager to learn and willing to teach to connect and grow together. We believe that diversity, equity, inclusion, and allyship are not just business imperatives — they are central pillars of our employee experience. Our entrepreneurial culture and flat structure allow creative ideas and original concepts to drive our business forward — and for careers to take flight.
Through our financial advisory business, Lazard advises clients around the world on strategic and financial matters including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, capital structure and capital raising. Our client relationships are built on trust and discretion. As the world’s largest advisory-focused firm, we have exceptional depth of expertise across industry sectors and geographies. We value the rich diversity that comes from blending local perspective with our global network.
Lazard’s Private Capital Advisory Group (“PCA”) is a global leader in raising private capital and executing secondary transactions for investment managers. PCA interacts primarily with institutional investors (sovereign wealth funds, public funds, corporate pension funds, foundations/endowments, financial institutions, and asset managers). One PCA business line is Real Asset Fund Placement, which advises primarily infrastructure and real estate funds seeking to raise private capital. The team is experienced in working with both equity- and debt-focused managers across a range of investment vehicles, including closed- and open-end funds, private REITs, and programmatic joint ventures. PCA is seeking to hire a Vice President for its Real Asset business to focus on transaction management. Our deal teams are typically comprised of 3-4 PCA professionals, including an Analyst, Associate, Vice President or Director and a Managing Director. VPs will work in tandem with Associates and Analysts during the preparation of a transaction (i.e., drafting marketing materials such as a Private Placement Memorandum, preparing track record analyses, preparing the Virtual Data Room, etc.) and during the marketing and due diligence phases of the transaction (i.e., tracking investor outreach, facilitating and answering due diligence questions from potential investors, roadshow coordination, and other responsibilities as part of managing the transaction process).
We’ll trust you to:

- Prepare marketing materials, including investor presentation materials, private placement memoranda, and financial models

- An organized and confident communication style internally and externally, with the ability to manage senior client interaction
- A demonstrated team player attitude and leadership qualities with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
