Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Rates E-Trading Quant to join our team. As a Rates E-Trading Quant, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of professionals to develop algorithmic pricing and hedging strategies for the Rates Electronic Trading desk. The ideal candidate for this role is one who is highly analytical, has a deep understanding of the rates markets, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as a Mathematics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering and a minimum of six years of experience in a quantitative role primarily dealing with RFQ and CLOB data. Additionally, the ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing and implementing quantitative models using large datasets and a strong understanding of the US rates markets. The candidate must also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge in US Treasury and Swaps markets particularly with RFQ and CLOB trading
- Prior experience development market making and hedging algorithms
- Must know KDB/Q, C++, Python, SQL, R, Java
- Ability to conduct data analytics using KDB to gain insight into algo performance and client monetization
- Experience in building multiple web-based monitoring tools for the desk to use
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement electronic market making and portfolio risk management algorithms
- Build intraday monitoring tools for algo performance
- Create intraday and end-of-day reports to capture key market and pnl metrics
- Perform client analysis and market microstructure research
- Liaise with the team of professionals to ensure strategies are carried out correctly and in a timely manner
- Communicate and problem-solve effectively
- Remain up-to-date with market and regulatory changes
- Follow industry best practices and standards
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality in all tasks
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $175,000 - $325,000. The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
