This role will drive the strategy for data systems, partner closely with data engineering and backend services engineering teams, and develop a roadmap to ensure that our data moves through the lifecycle in accurate, secure, and efficient ways, while maximizing value for our business. /liliOwn the roadmap for user data capabilities, including new feature development of our User Data Systems, to drive data accuracy and enable value-generating use cases that leverage user data across the organization.
/liliSupport organizational efforts toward data governance, including improvements to our data policies and roles, data quality, data privacy amp; security, and data access.
/liliOwn relevant legal/compliance/data privacy projects to enhance our data privacy program and meet and exceed our commitment to user privacy.
/liliClearly communicate plans, insights, data, and results to a wide spectrum of audiences.

/divdivulliMinimum 3 years’ experience building big data solutions with technologies such as Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery, AWS, ETL pipelines, Airflow, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Trino to meet business, market, and user needs.
/liliExtreme attention to detail, with proven experience leading data migrations, data ingress/egress solutions, data privacy projects, launching new data platforms/products, enhancing data governance efforts, and enabling analytics tooling capabilities.
/liliA strong bias toward action, able to break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.
/liliExcellent people skills and an expert collaborator, ability to work effectively with both direct and indirect teams, gaining consensus and stakeholder buy-in and getting things done in a complex organization.
/liliClear communication and be a data evangelist, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and creating a feedback loop.
/liliDeep experience with making data-informed decisions, strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data analysis including SQL or Python, and defining metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts.
/liliSystems thinking, able to zoom out at the ecosystem level to assess broader business needs while being equally comfortable diving into the details and developing solutions at the granular level.
/liliTechnical acumen, with experience contributing to architectural engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
