Broadridge is hiring! This is a contract role to work remotely, initially. The Quality Assurance Analyst consultant is primarily responsible for performing manual and automation functional testing for a suite of products. The role will focus on the analyst's ability to understanding testing requirements, test case creation, test execution, and reporting test results for to all partners for assigned projects. You will be an individual contributor who is responsible for the preparation of test data, test planning and execution, reporting on testing status.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define test strategy, test suites, test cases as well as design tools for QA testing with a focus on automation.
- Define and implement improvements to our existing processes and automated tools with the goal of increased testing scope and efficiency.
- Work closely with Software Engineers and Product teams to understand the sophisticated ecosystems of the Broadridge Investor Communications Solutions platforms.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability.
- Execute automated scripts and perform failure analysis to resolve root cause of failure.
- Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across the platform.
- Where necessary, develop and execute manual test cases.
- Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible. Supporting manual testing efforts while the transition is in process.
- Uphold the ICS Quality organizations standards and procedures, including our coding best standard practices.
- Contribute to end-to-end user acceptance tests.
- Support QA Tools and activities as needed.
- Work with both onshore and offshore teams to meet objectives and timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years financial/brokerage services experience
- 7+ years software QE testing, programming
- 5+ years of Automation experience (Selenium)
- 1+ years of Software performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner or BlazeMeter)
- 3+ years working with Rational Databases (MS SQL, Oracle, My SQL)
- 2+ years hands on experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Experience validating RestAPIs (Postman, Swagger, Fiddler)
- Good knowladge of JAVA, Shell programming,
- Interaction with internal customers
Preferred
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
- Experience using SDLC frameworks such as Scrum or other Agile frameworks and using tools such as JIRA to facilitate
- Working knowladge of JIRA/XRay
