Job Purpose & Summary
ORIX USA seeks to recruit an Investor Solutions Senior Director to be based in New York to support the firm’s continued growth in private credit, private equity, real estate and infrastructure. This individual will have general investor solutions responsibilities across private markets strategies, with a primary focus on product development across the platform, including the development of custom and commingled solutions and the creation of marketing collateral for such activities, in addition to managing a small team of investor solutions professionals. The individual should have a strong understanding of a variety of private credit, real estate and private equity strategies and vehicles with the ability to effectively articulate and market such strategies through presentations, DDQs, etc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Development of fund and custom solutions across strategies.
- Conduct updated market research on competitors across all strategies, market dynamics, trending investment vehicles and LP structuring and terms.
- Liaise with investment teams to hone messaging for investment strategies, including the creation of new content via presentations and DDQs.
- Partner with fundraising team to respond to ad hoc/custom mandate requests, developing custom proposals based on investor objectives.
- Management of Marketing Materials and RFPs.
- Oversee investor solutions team which prepares marketing collateral, RFPs, DDQ responses, including the review of such materials.
- Collaborate with investment teams and marketing/communications team to develop more robust content to be used in presentations, prospect meetings and client communications.
- Work collaboratively within the investor solutions team and across the broader organization in a manner that is consistent with the firm’s culture.
- Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.

This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management. In addition, this role may interact with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors.
Education, Skills & Experience
Required
- Minimum 10 years in similar investor relations, private fund placement or investment banking.
- FINRA licensed (Series 7, 63).
- Strong understanding of all aspects of telling a fund’s “story,” including investment, marketing, and content development.
- Experience across a variety of private credit, real estate and infrastructure strategies, as well as strong understanding of operational and structural considerations.
- Experience with managing a small, close-knit and collaborative team.
- Team-player attitude is of absolute importance.
- Exceptional project management skills, ability to multi-task.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including exceptional proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to story-tell through presentations.
- Strong analytical skills, understanding of private funds’ performance, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent academic credentials are required
- High level of professionalism and maturity with an ability to interact and build relationships with people of differing levels of seniority, both within the firm and externally
- A spirit of collaboration and partnership that is central to ORIX USA’s culture and success

- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities
Annual base salary gross: $235,000 - $280,000 (NY only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of the ORIX USA’s salary for this position. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX USA’s total compensation package for employees.
