Job Description
Major Duties:
- Sell institutional Liquidity investment products and services to suitable prospects producing fee revenue for the bank.
- Identify new prospects by researching potential needs and prioritizing and producing a sales plan.
- Act as the technical expert on asset management products and services and the outside marketplace.
- Make customized sales presentations to large and complex clients utilizing knowledge of institutional investment products and services.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of investment products and services by initiating frequent contact with other financial institutions, partners and keeping abreast of laws and regulations affecting the industry.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors and their products and services.
- Coordinate with Product and Investments to ensure we have the appropriate products and investment strategy for the client base.
Qualifications
- 5 + years of investment sales experience.
- Deep understanding of the Liquidity business as well as an overall knowledge of investment management such as fixed income, active and passive equities cash securities and international.
- Ability to communicate and sell Northern products and services to generate revenue for the bank.
- Negotiation skills are necessary to respond to fee proposals.
- FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses required.
Salary Range
$189,290 - $260,245
