The bank is introducing a new partnership client coverage model in the USA specifically focused on multi-shoring client relationships. The Global Access Hub will be staffed with local staff and international assignments in order to scale the approved global collaboration framework.
We are looking for experienced client advisors with a proven track record and competency in:
- Partnership and collaboration with units across the bank
- Demonstrable growth track record evidenced by strong financial results
- Deep knowledge of bank’s intermediary risk framework with particular emphasis on the cross-border policies and controls
- Commitment to operational excellence with demonstrable track record in mastering key process flows required to service relationships in a compliant and agile manner
- Advanced spoken and written communication skills
- Sound understanding of the bank’s investment solutions and ability to drive sales and partner with specialists when required
- Ability to pass license exams (SIE, Series 7 and 66) within a reasonable amount of time

- New York: the salary range for this role is $157000 to $205000
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team
The Global Access Initiative will have hubs in New York, Miami, and California (exact location under development). It will be a market within the UBS International Financial Services Division. The WM APAC Team will be based in California. This team will report locally to the Head of the Global Access Initiative and functionally to the GWM APAC business unit. This team is not an origination unit and will therefore not prospect new clients but rather leverage existing client relationships referred from the GWM Business Units.
Your expertise
- 10+ years of experience in wealth management international, in a similar experience
- a firm grasp of financial markets and regulatory frameworks (with particular emphasis on the cross-border framework)
- Strong understanding and track record covering Asian Pacific UHNW/HNW Clients
- Experience in working within newly formed teams or new business lines is considered a plus
- Demonstrably results oriented with a strong track record in financial performance
- Strong risk management competencies including knowledge of cross-border frameworks, product suitability, and applicable policies and regulations
- Proven experience in building client trust, evidenced through share of wallet growth
- Sound understanding of financial markets and the bank’s investment capabilities
- Valid Wealth Management Diploma or equivalent certification
- Proven ability to digest new information and learn quickly as obtaining several licenses will be a pre-requisite for the role
- If not a US Person or US permanent, visa eligibility includes: bachelor’s degree; 2+ years employee of UBS
