This role sits in the Equities electronic trading technology. This encompasses our ALGO’s, Smart Order Router, SDP and LX ATS. We are looking for a good BAPM with sound understanding of equities trading and having the ability to relate that to technical deliveries to join our team.
To be successful as a Vice President – Business Analyst -Project Manager , you should have experience with:
- In-depth knowledge of Cash Equities Electronic Trading FTB trade flows and processes
- Knowledge of execution algorithms, smart order routing and market micro-structure a distinct advantage
- First-hand experience working on a front-office trading platform
- Detailed knowledge of trading protocols (e.g. FIX)
- Experience of creating and executing test plans and validating post go live changes

- Java, Python
- SQL, KDB/Q querying
- Understanding of system architectures etc.

This role is based out of our office in New York City, NY.
Minimum Salary: $165,000
Maximum Salary: $227,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
