The Lazard Asset Management Marketing team is responsible for developing and delivering strategic marketing campaigns, across all client touch points, globally. We are seeking an experienced and innovative ETF Product Marketing Lead to develop messaging and collateral for our ETF Launch in the Americas. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the overarching foundation for Product Marketing and create a strategic roadmap to execute upon — and prioritize against — in partnership with the business to deliver top-tier marketing content.
The ETF Product Marketing Lead will act as a connect for stakeholders across the investment, sales, channel marketing and broader marketing team to deliver on the firm’s key ETF business objectives to drive commercial success. They will have a deep understanding of the US ETFs marketplace, needs of clients and be able to clearly articulate the benefits of our ETF lineup.
We’ll trust you to:
- Craft compelling product positioning, messaging, and storytelling that differentiate our solutions in the market and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing assets.
- Build and execute a holistic content strategy that measurably drives brand awareness and revenue
- Communicate the vision and value of our platform and drive sales enablement by creating persuasive sales collateral, toolkits, and supporting assets to bolster the brand and drive client acquisition
- Maintain a firm understanding of the ETF ecosystem with a strategic overlay that accounts for our distribution structure/approach and how we fit into the broader ETF marketplace
- Create and support new ETF product narratives across various content mediums, including presentations, brochures, digital-first written content, videos, and events
- Partner with channel marketing leads to maximize distribution and execute high-quality campaigns and marketing activities aimed at driving sales and client retention
- Use competitive analyses, sales feedback and client insights and usage data to drive ETF marketing strategy forward and ensure content is in line with relevant product offerings and demand
- Work collaboratively with Compliance to ensure all ETF-related marketing materials are in accordance with the latest FINRA and SEC rules and regulations.
You’ll need to have:
- 8 or more years of experience in financial services or a related industry, with a minimum of 5 years in the ETF marketplace or funds marketing
- Deep knowledge of the US ETF market and ETF product understanding across all asset classes
- Self-starter with the ability and desire to build something from the ground up
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders across all levels of the organization to build relationships and influence partners
- Outstanding organizational skills, consistently developing and meeting schedules, ability to prioritize and re-prioritize, and using good judgment in engaging business partners
- Strong storyteller and writer that can distill complex concepts into simple, concise, and compelling messages that resonate with target audiences
- Strong background in leveraging data to identify insights and assess content strategy across channels to deliver quality ETF content and materials
- Ability to learn quickly on the job to produce high quality work, thoughtfully, accurately and with a keen attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving abilities and solutions-oriented style

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $130,000 - $150,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
