What You Will Do
We are seeking an Associate to join our Product Strategy and COO, Business Development team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team by supporting the day-to-day management of the sales team, assisting with fundraising efforts, performing market research, working on product development initiatives, and coordinating key stakeholder reporting efforts.
These responsibilities will provide you with exposure to PGIM and the asset management industry and you will develop a broad knowledge of private real estate, alternatives products, institutional investors and consultants, and the marketplace.
What You Can Expect
- Prepare research on alternative investment market segments, investor channels, competitors, and other business items on an ongoing basis. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and resource center regarding key competitive products, strategies, and market intel and share conclusions and insights with broader business development and investment teams
- Develop strong understanding of PGIM Private Alternatives’ product set and business, and prepare competitive analysis for PGIM Private Alternatives’ products
- Create presentations, financial models, and benchmarking analyses to support new product and/or business initiatives, and ongoing fundraising initiatives
- Assist with administration and management of Business Development team’s annual goal planning cycle from development phase to tracking progress throughout the year, including activity metrics. Interpret results and communicate updates and forecasts with internal stakeholders
- Provide input on initiatives pertaining to CRM, data room/investor portal, and all tools/processes that support the fundraising process and investor relations
- Assist the Business Development team with ongoing client/consultant management and fundraising efforts including, but not limited to, organizing client sales and review meetings, diligence meetings, and property tours and helping with roadshow planning and preparation
What You Will Bring
- Bachelors Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in asset management, institutional sales, client relationship management, or investments required; preferably related to private real estate and private credit investment markets
- Exemplary written and verbal skills to be able to effectively communicate messages and updates to senior management
- Advanced technical skills required in full suite of Microsoft products, notably Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with Salesforce and Tableau, as well as business intelligence resources such as Preqin, Pitchbook, With Intelligence, eVestment, MMD
What will set you apart?
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred; if not currently licensed you will be required to obtain the requisite licenses within 12 months of taking the position
- Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously; strong execution and follow through skills in a fast-paced environment
- Intellectually curious, goal-oriented individual, self-starter with a bias toward action and a commitment to work with integrity to deliver high quality results
- Ability to balance between working in a highly regulated industry while still identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when working on sensitive business and organizational issues; impeccable judgment to handle sensitive information
- Detail-oriented with the ability to look holistically at details sourced from many different resources
- Ability to work independently and to orchestrate work with other teams

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $120,000 to $140,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
