General Summary and Purpose:
The Director, Taft-Hartley is a Sales and Relationship Management Professional. You will have the responsibility for building relationships with the staff and trustees of labor unions, and with their Investment Consultants, as they decide to invest with Victory Capital.
This position reports to the Head of Institutional.
You Will:
- Take over a book-of-business of labor clients that is concentrated in the Midwest but also has a presence across the United States and which represents many different trades.
- Serve as the single-point-of-contact for all investment related inquiries and requests for this client base.
- Further develop relationships with these clients through managing their investment reviews and participating in various conferences and events.
- Win new business with these and other unions in partnership with existing Victory institutional team members.
- Work in partnership with a dedicated Consultant Relations team to further develop current relationships with investment consultants in partnership with existing Consultant Relations Officers.
- Focus on selling investment strategies from each of Victory's franchises across our 11 investment franchises inclusive of product in:
- S. Developed, Emerging Markets ang Global Equity: Micro, Small, SMID, Mid, Large and All Cap.
- S. Core, Core Plus and Specialty Fixed Income.
- Solutions products ranging from Strategic Beta to customized and bespoke portfolios.
- Private Investments across Capitalization Structures.
- Operate as part of a successful existing Institutional team.
- Be a true team player who understands how to partner with others across our Company.
- Identify opportunities and understand how to use all available resources to secure a new institutional mandate.
- Travel weekly for networking, conferences and consultant coverage.
- Maintain the appropriate reports to keep management up-to-speed on progress.
- Be compensated based on success with an incentive plan that offers meaningful incentive compensation opportunity.
You Have:
- History working in the labor market and/or a strong desire to build a lifelong career working with this very valuable group of clients.
- The versatility and knowledge needed to market within a multi-franchise investment firm.
- Experience: Flexible with potential to hire a 5+ year marketer who has started fast and has a high ceiling to a 20+ year Institutional veteran with an established personal brand and a deep rolodex of contacts.
- A., B.S. required as is a Series 7 and 63 or the willingness to attain these designations as a condition of employment.

Target Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is $93,500 - $150,000.
Salaries are determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees, and certifications.
Victory Capital Management operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
Victory Capital Management's total compensation package includes the opportunity for annual compensation bonuses and/or commissions and a generous benefits package.
