Your Future Team
The Billing Governance & Integrations team is newly established at Hightower, responsible for the onboarding and termination of accounts related to advisory fee billing. This team serves as the central contact for all finance integration activities. You will help establish processes and protocol while working with other Finance departments to execute the team’s goals. One senior analyst and two analysts will report directly to you to support ongoing reporting, analysis, account terminations, and integration activities. You will report to the Director of Finance Operations and help manage risk, integrate new advisor teams, enhance financial controls, and contribute to the achievement of the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the advisory fee billing onboarding and account termination process, ensuring accurate timely fee and refund calculations & processing to clients
- Manage the account termination process, tracking and resolving escalations and exceptions; Ensure billing service termination queue SLAs are met
- Support the finance integration process from end-to-end, inclusive of due diligence, onboarding, and collaborating. Ensure timelines are met, updates are communicated, and processes are improved
- Perform billing test-runs and analysis for onboarding advisory businesses, ensuring accuracy in the establishment of fee attributes and set-up
- Generate and present KPI reports related to billing governance & integrations to management
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and innovation
- Help team members in increasing their knowledge of billing governance, finance integration and related processes
- Help govern, adhere, and report on internal controls and procedures to maintain regulatory standards, ensure compliance, enhance efficiency, and reduce errors. Track and support remediation
- Maintain accurate and organized finance integration and billing onboarding/termination records, supporting documentation, and audit trails to facilitate internal and external audits
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in an operations or a similar role
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role
- Financial services industry and RIA experience preferred
- Understanding of financial services billing principles
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills that will be used to collaborate with diverse teams and clients
- Proficiency and exceptional attention-to-detail in data analysis
- Experience implementing governance and oversight of operational processes
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite, including Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup)
