Your opportunity
The Capital Markets Team has broad responsibility in several major areas: engagement with the broker dealer community, stock exchanges and trading desks to ensure an efficient trading ecosystem for JHG ETFs. Day to day monitoring of all secondary market trading activity and managing primary market creation and redemption flow in all exchange traded products. This includes all daily reporting to third party market makers, vendors, issuers and other regulatory mandated reports. Facilitate all client interactions and needs related to secondary market trading and best execution. Develop and conduct internal and external ETF education. Maintain all key relationships related to primary and secondary markets including seed capital needs, LMM assignments, exchange relationships, etc.
- Track secondary market activity in JHG ETFs by monitoring Bid/Ask spreads and premium/discounts to NAV across products and communicate issues with Market Makers
- Confirm accuracy of daily PCF files, ETF Indicative NAVs (iNAVs) and other relevant data being disseminated to the market
- Coordinate ETF creation/redemption activity with liquidity providers and issuers (Janus and third parties).
- Serve as a resource for client internal and external inquiries regarding ETF liquidity.
- Assist internal and external clients in getting best execution in ETF trades.
- Monitor performance of designated market makers on exchanges (DLPs and LMMs).
- Day-to-day responsibility for ETNA (ETF order management system) – logging create/redeem orders.
- Assist in end of day ETN process (index inputs, calculating final levels, pricing orders, confirming orders to market makers and issuers, EOD internal and external reporting).
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the JHG sales teams.
- Provide Sales with training, education, and updates about JHG ETFs
- Outreach to external ETF execution and sales desks
- On site visits / travel to firms outside the NYC area.
- Develop positive and professional working relationships with all key liquidity providers, issuers, exchanges and data vendors.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Must have skills
- 2 years in financial services preferably in sales / trading or trade support.
- Exchange Traded Products (ETF / ETN) – understand (and articulate) underlying mechanics of ETFs; market structure; creation / redemption mechanism; on and off screen liquidity
- Trade execution experience
- Advanced Excel skills (macros, APIs)
- Working knowledge of financial information systems (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc)
- Series 7, 63 or 65
Nice to have skills
- Fixed Income experience
- UCITS ETF knowledge or experience
- MBA, CFA or on track / desire to attain
- Series 3 or commodity experience

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be posted until November 30, 2024.
Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
