Salary: $15,250.00 - $25,416.67
This position is eligible for annual and long-term incentive awards. The annual incentive opportunity is 0-75% of salary and is based on the level of achievement against several quantitative and qualitative measures. The long-term incentive program provides an additional opportunity of 50% of base salary beginning after five years and when absolute total fund returns meet or exceed board-approved thresholds.

The Investment Technology, Data, and Performance (ITDP) team is responsible for managing investment technology and data for the CalPERS Investment Office. The team seeks to leverage technology and data to create durable investment outcomes while enabling investment innovation.
Our CalPERS Investment Office (INVO) is currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Investment Manager (IM) to oversee investment technology used by Public Equity, Fixed Income, Total Fund, and Affiliate Investment Program (AIP) portfolio management teams. The role will be integral in selecting and implementing a consolidated order management system (OMS) and investment book of record (IBOR) for capital markets and total funds.
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Oversee staff, contractors, consultants, and managed services providers responsible for supporting maintenance and technology operations.
- Support planning, development, and implementation of INVO data and technology strategies enabling INVO to implement the Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) with acceptable levels of operational risk and to drive investment innovation.
- Oversee aspects of technology contracting and budgets.
Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite per week.
