Director - Enterprise Change Management
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
We are seeking a talented and driven
Enterprise Change Management Leader to join our U.S. team and lead our Enterprise Change Management U.S. function. As the
Enterprise Change Management Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the U.S. Enterprise Change Management team, ensuring seamless facilitation of the enterprise Change Management process in the U.S. in alignment with the latest ITIL best practices
. Act as an official representative in all interaction with regulatory bodies to advocate for RBC.
This role requires strong leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset, as you will assess change-related risk, gatekeep enterprise-level technology changes and manage stakeholders across the organization. You will be responsible for facilitating change advisory boards and ensuring that our change management practices align with industry standards and support RBC’s focus on safe innovation.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead and manage the U.S. Enterprise Change Management team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Facilitate and oversee the enterprise Change Management process, ensuring all procedures are compliant with RBC Standards and industry regulations in accordance with ITIL best practices.
- Lead change advisory boards, collaborating with key stakeholders across RBC, Technology & Operations to assess and manage change risks.
- Build and maintain positive and transparent relationships with key regulatory stakeholders to foster trust and cooperation.
- Provide timely and accurate communications to regulatory bodies.
- Analyze regulatory requirements and provide strategic advice on compliance obligations, risks, and opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the change management process to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintain accountability for process ownership and execute process transformation initiatives as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in ITSM and change management, advising senior leadership on best practices and emerging trends.
- Partner with the enterprise Incident & Problem Management team to produce IT service management reporting and analysis.
- Govern the execution of the Change Management process, ensuring teams across the organization are abiding by process standards and guardrails.
- Lead participation in related risk & regulatory activities, including the delivery of IT service management audits and compliance initiatives.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- B.S. degree in computer science, business technology management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in people management, with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), with a focus on change management.
- Proven track record to handle regulatory inquiries, audits, or investigations efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Extensive experience with Change Management governance and controls.
- Demonstrated experience in managing risk / regulatory / audit engagements and a proven track record of working with regulators.
- Demonstrated experience in process ownership and process transformation within a large organization.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with an ability to transform, motivate and guide teams to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels and negotiating agreeable outcomes.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement by staying informed about all regulatory changes and advise on potential impacts.
- Ability to prepare strategies for adaptation.
- Adaptable and resilient, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $160,000-$250,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
