FAS Marketing is on a mission to revolutionize the client experience, becoming even more client-centric and outcome-driven. We're building on our strengths—quality content, thought leadership, and product expertise—to create unparalleled client journeys. So, who's the driving force behind it all? Meet the Marketing Chief of Staff (CoS). Part air-traffic control expert, part super-hero, the CoS sits on the FAS Marketing Leadership team and reports directly to the divisional CMO.
Team Overview FAS Marketing is organized to enable FAS business by 1) implementing marketing strategies aligned to our key investment products and offers 2) activating outcome-oriented, personalized distribution experiences for the FAS clients 3) advancing data and technology capabilities to continuously optimize our processes.
Position Overview As the Marketing Chief of Staff, you will sit on the FAS Marketing Leadership Team and report directly to the divisional CMO. You will play a pivotal role on the team, partnering with the CMO to shape and execute the department’s strategy and supporting the Leadership Team to develop and progress business objectives/KRs.
You will play a key role in strategic planning, reporting, and operationalizing the way the leadership team works together. In your role as Marketing Chief of Staff, you can expect to have direct ownership of:
- Maintaining and providing regular updates on FAS Marketing goal setting/OKRs, dashboards, and reporting
- Managing the ongoing operating rhythm for the FAS Marketing Team
- Leading communications architecture for the organization
- Taking on sub-division-wide special projects
We are looking for a positive, intellectually curious, self-starter, who has a passion for serving our clients:
- Pro-active: The successful candidate seeks creative, proactive ways to add value. You'll use feedback to consistently improve and are flexible – willing to pivot on a moment’s notice.
- Thoughtful planner: The ideal candidate is an expert planner with even better organizational skills. You'll have an eye for details and can stay organized despite having many inflight responsibilities at once.
- Confidence with ambiguity: You can clearly define what success looks like, including when it needs to be achieved and who needs to validate the win. You'll then figure out the how, by working backwards from success and identifying key milestones, dependencies, and accountable owners.
- Communication skills: FAS Marketing moves fast and evolves quickly. It is critical that you can see the bigger picture, while understanding the smaller, tactical changes that need to happen to keep the team moving forward.
