AVP, US/Canada Tax & Regulatory Reporting
The Americas Tax & Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for coordinating Jefferies’ tax and transaction reporting compliance in a constantly evolving business and regulatory environment. A successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attentional to detail, possess a positive can-do attitude, operate with the highest levels of integrity and competence and foster collaborative relationships across business and partner teams.
US/Canada Tax & Regulatory Reporting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the firm’s withholding and remittance obligations in compliance with US and Canadian tax regulations
- Manage US and Canadian regulatory reporting including:
- SEC Rule 10C-1a
- N-PX Proxy
- SEC 13F
- FINRA CAT
- OFR Non-Centrally Cleared Repo
- Canadian short reporting
- Partner with Compliance to review requirements for any new tax or regulatory reporting initiatives and implement processes accordingly
- Assist with all US/Canadian tax and regulatory reporting-related audit requests
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in tax operations and/or regulatory reporting at a multi-national financial institution
- Skilled in MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when working with high volumes of data
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100,000 - $120,000
The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
