Your opportunity
- You will be based in our Denver office and report into the Business Resilience Manager located in Denver.
- You will support the Global Business Resilience team across all aspects of the Business Resilience program at Janus Henderson Investors (JHI).
- Support all aspects of the key Business Resilience program components (e.g., Threat Analysis, Business Impact Analysis, Continuity Planning, IT Service Continuity planning and testing) to ensure they are current. Providing support, assistance and guidance to Business Continuity Coordinators as required.
- Assist in the development, facilitation, and coordination of business resilience exercises.
- Support the development of schedules and materials for business resilience training / awareness activities to ensure that recovery teams are trained and proficient in implementing business continuity plans and supporting tools.
- Administer and maintain standard materials used for client facing activities, including due diligence packs and responses.
- Take a key role in supporting the development of database management information and reporting, this will require strong data management and visualization skills.
- Assist in the production of reporting materials and other artefacts such as metrics, key performance indicators, and key risk indicators.
- Monitor industry and Business Continuity and Resilience regulatory news and trends.
- Monitor and communicate potential threats that may impact the JHI business.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
- The role is designated as on-call, meaning availability outside of traditional business hours may be necessary to fulfill job responsibilities for incident response and crisis management.

Must have skills
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office elements including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Some experience with data visualization tools and willingness to learn to use visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Ability to develop a good understanding of Janus Henderson Investors’ business, willingness to invest time in learning about business resilience and continuity and ability to relate that knowledge to identified continuity and resilience approaches within our business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- High level of personal integrity, with the ability to handle confidential and otherwise sensitive matters professionally and with the appropriate level of discretion, judgment, and maturity .
- Degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Strong ability to work with and interpret data.
- Ability to work to and deliver within tight deadlines.
Nice to have skills
- Bachelors Degree
- Knowledge of the financial regulatory environment in relation to business resilience
- Knowledge of ICT continuity frameworks and practices
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or equivalent would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience in building management reporting dashboards e.g. Microsoft Power BI
- An understanding of risk.

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $65,000- $75,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through February 28, 2025.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
