Position Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibilities of the co-op position will be to: •Acquire practical and theoretical knowledge of tax issues related to trusts •Review and adjust year-end tax information including amortization and option transactions. •Partner with trust advisors on 65-day distributions for complex trusts. •Assist with processing and other administrative duties related to filing and tracking of tax returns •Assist with special projects related to the client relationship management system •Assist the Tax team with assigned projects and tax-related duties •Assist with research of tax laws, rules, and regulations in relation to specific situations •Attend educational sessions within the department on key tax topics •Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
•Accounting/business majors preferred •Microsoft Word required. •Microsoft Excel-intermediate to advanced level experience required. •Strong written and verbal communication skills. The working hours for Glenmede employees are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. For this position, we are currently operating in a hybrid work environment requiring a minimum of 2-3 days in the office per week.
