About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our registered fund and accounting service is one of key focus areas for expanding our offering into the rapidly growing retail alternative products space. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
As a core member of our Fund Accounting – Registered Funds team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Location: Malvern, PA
Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Be a strategic leader in the Fund Accounting – Registered Funds team
- Champion initiatives such as creating efficiencies, ensuring best practices, implementing employee engagement initiatives as well as be a senior escalation point within the operational group
- Work closely with the members of the Fund Accounting Senior Management Team and drive strategic and operational excellence to help foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Interact with senior management and manage overall relationships for multiple clients
- Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients
- Assist with recruitment, employee assessment, and business planning
- Establish plans for new client integrations and transitions and engage in client relationship management
- Coordinate with other operational teams as well as ancillary services groups
- Coordinate, manage, and monitor external audit process
- Review fund client’s partnership agreements, PPM’s, and other materials
- Manage various operational aspects associated with client relationship
- Implement global standards for work processes and ensure ongoing monitoring of control environment
- Develop, maintain, and validate clear department operational procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
About You:
- 12–15 years of hedge fund accounting experience.
- Expertise in managing a 40 Act product fund accounting group
- Experience in managing client relationships and/or with the controllership function of a registered fund including business development company products
- Possess negotiation, business planning, and budgeting skills
- Expertise with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals
- Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
- CPA or comparable designation
Salary Range: $189,000 - $230,000 USD annually
