JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the SVP, HR Operations & Facilities, the VP, Workplace Services will play an integral role within the firm overseeing facilities across all Antares office locations. They will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision for facilities management, leading a dedicated team of facilities professionals. They will manage and partner with external vendors and service providers to maintain all building systems and infrastructure, as well as on the buildout of new facilities or the renovation of existing facilities. They will support internal stakeholders and employee needs and will ensure a safe, healthy and effective work environment for all. Additionally, they will work to proactively prevent potential issues and drive innovation within the function.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee facilities operations across all office locations and develop and implement long-term strategic plans for facilities management aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the maintenance and reliability of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and waste management.
- Partner with leadership in the planning, design, and construction of new facilities and the renovation of existing ones.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate, oversee, and manage repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Create and manage the facilities budget, monitoring and controlling expenditures to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on facilities performance and strategic initiatives.
- Utilize data-driven insights to improve facilities management practices.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal clients and stakeholders, serving as a point of contact for facilities-related issues and concerns.
- Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of facilities operations and promote energy-efficient practices.
- Leverage technology to enhance facilities management processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in facilities management.
- Implement proactive measures to prevent potential issues and respond effectively to unexpected challenges and opportunities.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and safety standards.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and lead relevant fire/life safety initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) required.
- Minimum 10 years relevant work experience required.
- Professional certification such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or similar preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience required.
SKILLS
- Proven track record of managing large-scale facilities and strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and operations.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of facilities professionals.
- Strong project management experience and execution capability with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects with competing deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve facilities-related issues efficiently.
- Is self-motivated, has a strong focus on continuous improvement, and takes initiative to address areas of opportunity.
- Ability and willingness to analyze complex, ambiguous challenges and develop and present comprehensive solutions.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
- Experience with budget management and financial planning.
- Experience in negotiating and managing contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with ability to build strong working relationships with peers and key stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Detail oriented with commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Acts with the utmost integrity; leads by example and handles sensitive and/or confidential information appropriately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint).

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at time of posting is below. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Actual base salary within the specified range is comprised of several components, including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, specific degrees and certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and, if applicable, the location of the position.
This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance).

Salary Range
$150,000—$175,000 USD
