Your Future Team
The Learning and Development Associate will help develop leadership, SME, and administrative training programs by coordinating other departments, the Learning Management System (LMS), and external vendors. You will ensure seamless logistics management and will oversee the effectiveness of training programs. You will report to the Manager, Learning and Development.
What You'll Do - Training Needs Assessment
- Partner with important partners (e.g., department leaders, HR) to identify skill gaps, training needs, and professional development opportunities.
- Research and identify external training programs and vendors that meet learning and development needs that aligns with our goals.
- Training Implementation and Evaluation
- Collaborate with teams to develop learning programs, including instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning, job aids, and blended learning programs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through post-course evaluations, surveys, exit interviews and recommend improvements based on feedback and performance data.
- Learning Management System (LMS)
- Manage and improve the learning management system (LMS) to use its features to enhance functionality and improve the user experience. Manage course administration, which includes managing all curriculums, uploading new courses, assigning learning paths, ensuring training is up to date and any other course related tasks.
- Monitor and create reports on training participation, course completion, post-course evaluations and any reports requested by departments.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support for employees accessing the LMS.
- Experience in Cornerstone LMS preferred but not required.
- Training Program Coordination
- Collaborate with external training vendors, consultants, and institutions to support delivery of leadership programs, summer internship program, and any other training program execution.
- Manage logistics for training programs which include scheduling sessions, organizing training materials, communicating with participants and any other required logistics.
- Evaluate and measure the success of the training programs using post-program surveys, assessment scores, and any other channels of feedback used. Will review data and make recommendations for program improvements/enhancements.
- Marketing and Engagement
- Partner with marketing and other relevant departments to communicate and market training to support participation and engagement.
- Provide monthly reporting on the use and engagement metrics of the LMS.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Learning and Development, training delivery, or instructional design.
- Strong presentation skills
- Evaluate and research training opportunities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in eLearning tools, and other learning technologies is a plus
- Experience in coordination or program management.
