The Role
Apollo’s Asset-Backed Finance business is seeking an Analyst to join its Structured Credit Investing team to focus on the analysis and monitoring of structured credit investments, specifically CLOs (“Collateralized Loan Obligations”). This role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to interface with multiple aspects of the business and gain exposure to primary market tracking and investing, secondary market trading, bespoke transactions, portfolio management and fund level monitoring/reporting, as well as marketing and investor relations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor CLO market transaction activity on a daily basis, helping to track potential investment opportunities. This will require daily communication with bank counterparties on Bloomberg, Outlook, and over the phone.
- Support portfolio managers and traders to screen primary and secondary market opportunities
- Assist in preparation of underwriting memos which will be presented to the investment committee
- Assist with team reporting and reviews of existing positions and portfolios
- Help marketing/investor relations team create presentations for investors such as portfolio updates or new mandate proposals
- Maintain a variety of market intelligence databases
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
- Minimum of 1 year and maximum of 2 years of total experience within structured credit, fixed income, or similar/relevant roles (banking, sales/trading, etc.)
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- High attention to detail, willingness to learn, superior work ethic
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and Intex strongly preferred, but not required

Pay Range
$110,000 - $125,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
