The Analyst, Systems is a member of MissionSquare’s Technology team supporting next generation technology applications. The Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. This position works closely with end-users, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure successful implementation of applications related to Marketing and Sales. This role involves translating business needs into product requirements, analyzing technical solutions, and documenting functional designs.
Essential Functions For This Role Include
- Gather and validate business requirements using interviews, workshops, and prototyping techniques.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications using process modeling, business rules, and use cases; provide recommendations for solution design.
- Develop test plans and scripts; execute functional testing; act as liaison during UAT; support implementation activities including data migration.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues; identify root causes and recommend remediation; create and maintain technical documentation.
- Administer and configure Marketing and Sales technology platforms; ensure system integrity and user access compliance.
- Analyze and interpret data to deliver actionable insights for stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
- Performs other duties as assigned
If you have the following skills, we encourage you to apply:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably supporting Sales and Marketing technologies.
- Adobe Marketo certification is a plus.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies and experience using Jira Software or similar toolsets
- Expert use of analysis, documentation, and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
- Strong technology experience coupled with excellent communications skills and an ability to partner with stakeholders to design technology solutions. Proven track record of translating stakeholder requirements into technology designs.
- Strong understanding of different requirements analysis practices and the ability to apply this understanding to generate appropriate Functional, Non-functional and Technical requirements and design.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including project-related user interview skills and effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to structure complex or undefined business problems.
- Ability to write SQL Queries to analyze data and patterns.
