Our Commodity Markets and Finance Division provides a full spectrum offering to clients with exposure to commodities as well as risk management, financing, physical execution and logistics across the full spectrum of commodities and in all regions.

What role will you play?
In this role, you will work in a client-facing, revenue generating role with a focus on corporate and financial sponsorship clients in the upstream oil & gas sector in the US and Canada. You will cover corporate and financial sponsorship clients with exposures to crude, natural gas, liquids and originate the deployment of capital where needed in addition to having PNL accountability, to identify, structure and promote our breath of commodity products and services. This includes primarily risk management, but also physical commodities, debt and working capital solutions. You will drive the management, development, and promotion of Macquarie’s commodity platform, lead the deal process, and execute deals to generate revenue while meeting regularly and collaborating with internal trading, sales, origination, structuring and investment banking teams to develop client solutions that utilize Macquarie’s differentiated commodity platform.
Salary range for this position: $150,000 – $220,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
What You Offer
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a relevant major
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a sales and / or origination role related to oil, natural gas, liquids and/or renewables
- Experience in delivering client solutions by deploying balance sheet
- Financial derivative understanding and expertise
- Have a global view of the international market and deep local knowledge within each of the targeted jurisdictions
- Ability to structure and model economics of projects
